About the Owner

CareOne Home Care was founded by Shalonda Gaines, a healthcare professional with more than 20 years of experience serving patients, families, and care teams across Maryland and Virginia. With a Master of Healthcare Administration and a strong background in healthcare leadership, Shalonda has spent her career improving patient access, supporting clinical teams, and ensuring individuals receive the care and respect they deserve.

Her experience as an Operations Manager in home health gave her firsthand insight into how meaningful compassionate, dependable support can be. She created CareOne Home Care to bring that same level of dignity, connection, and personalized care to anyone who needs assistance at home.
